Welcome to Sage’s Handmade. I’ve been slowly expanding from Discord and Instagram, and now I’m happy to be launching my website. This space will include both art and craft, not only because I do both but also because there is often overlapping space. Especially when it comes to mediums which are traditionally women’s work. I’ve seen all too many crocheted works by women that are dismissed as “craft” while the same work done by a man is hailed as “art” by museum curators. I will use tags to differentiate as makes most sense to me.

A little about me: I’m a woman living with various disabling chronic illnesses, and I currently live in San Antonio, TX. I love learning. As an artist and crafter both, I’m self-taught, or at least taught by YouTube, books, and trial and error. I’m interested in basically everything and impatient to learn as much as I can.
